Hoping to have it back up today. I've transferred my domains to a new hosting provider....just finalizing the last few things. Still haven't heard a word from my previous hosting service....oh well.

Hi Joe,

I agree with you and so does the book. And that is how I have been promoting and marketing my bookstore since I opened. I'm always looking to learn and find new ideas and was hoping this would finally be the marketing book that would have some that fit with my ideals.

Good luck to you....it is hard self-promoting but so worth it!

Hi Shelley,

I have not read the book. I'm learning how to market my own book (not on marketing, lol). I'm cherry-picking through many different avenues. All I know is it's going to take a lot of time and effort, but I feel like I'm on the right path and more unfolds as I go along. I don't know what your business is, but could that be the way to go? I mean, just open yourself to a stream of ideas? I believe the most important catalyst is to have a passion for your product or service. That alone hooks you into a positive flow...then you keep moving on it. I'd like to keep in touch to see what happens with both of us.

Best wishes, Joe

I am an avid Sylvia Browne believer and reader. I have done tons of research over the years as to her beliefs, where they come from, and own about 15 of her books. I would like to own all of them, but with four kids and a business to run, I barely have time to read.

I will have to pick this one up. I honestly didn't even know about it. She definatly does her research and is very smart. There are so many people who bash her for the things she has gotten wrong. The Psychic gift (or any gift) for that matter is not always going to be dead on 100 percent of the time.

Who knew? Productive Procrastination was just a name I made up during university when I'd work on anything but the paper I needed to write....I was procrastinating about writing, but being productive while I did it! When I ran out of other things to do, I then had no choice but to sit down and write. I soon realized that's how I deal with all tasks I don't want to do, except lately I don't run out of the other tasks, so never get to what I should be doing.

Don't think all procrastination (or productivity, for that matter) is created equal. Might it be you're being a little too hard on yourself?

Some procrastination really IS productive.

It can sometimes be good to procrastinate - it can lead to less struggle, delay (counter-intuitive, but true), and more optimal functioning.

There's a new book out titled Productive Procrastination, and it describes how to do it, how to tell productive from destructive procrastination, and how to end the destruction kind. It's available on Amazon.com. Learn more about the book at www.Procrastivity.com
